K53 learner's test day checklist

Test day goes better when the practical things are sorted before you leave home. Use this list, then confirm details with your testing centre.

1. Confirm your appointment. Check the testing centre, date, arrival time and payment status. Contact the centre if anything is unclear.
2. Confirm the documents you need. Ask your centre what identification, booking proof, photos and payment documents to bring, and put them together the night before.
3. Plan your journey. Allow time for travel and queues, and keep the centre's contact details handy.
4. Review your weak topics. Use your diagnostic and mock exam results to revise the section that is closest to its pass mark. See practice questions.
5. Rest and eat. A clear head helps with careful reading of each question.
6. Read every question fully. Check each option before you choose, and use the time you have.
