Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the AceK53 app ("the app"), published by Monetzi (Pty) Ltd, South Africa. By using the app you agree to them.
What the app is
AceK53 is an independent study aid for the South African K53 learner's licence test. It is not endorsed by, or affiliated with, any government body, licensing authority or testing centre. Road rules and test content can change. Always check official sources, such as your local driving licence testing centre, for current requirements.
No guarantee of results
We work to keep the content accurate, but we do not guarantee it is complete or error-free, and we do not guarantee you will pass any test. Use the app as a study aid alongside official materials.
Free and Pro access
Some content is free. Pro unlocks all content and is offered as either:
- Pro for good: a one-time payment for lifetime access to Pro on the app, for as long as the app is offered.
- Monthly: an auto-renewing subscription. New subscribers may receive a free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or billing period ends, the subscription renews and your store account is charged the price shown.
Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country and store.
Payments, cancellation and refunds
Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Google Play or App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policies.
You can restore a previous purchase on a new device from the paywall using "Restore purchases", signed in to the same store account.
Acceptable use
Do not copy, resell, scrape or reverse engineer the app or its content, or use it in any unlawful way. The app and its content are protected by copyright. Road sign artwork and rules are based on public traffic regulations and manuals.
Liability
To the extent allowed by South African law, the app is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. The date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
